Malik

I’m Malik, a 28-year-old kite surfer instructor, born and raised in the beautiful surroundings of Zanzibar. My days are filled with excitement as I share my passion for kite surfing with visitors from all over the world. Being out on the water, feeling the wind in my hair and the rush of adrenaline, is where I feel most alive. As a instructor, I get to witness the joy on my students’ faces as they conquer the waves, mastering a skill they never thought possible. Tourism has had a profound impact on my life. It has not only provided me with a livelihood doing what I love but has also connected me with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Through tourism, I’ve had the opportunity to showcase the beauty of Zanzibar’s coastline and share the thrill of kite surfing with enthusiasts from far and wide. I believe that tourism has the power to enrich lives and strengthen communities. By teaching kite surfing, I not only empower individuals to explore the ocean but also contribute to the growth of our local economy and the preservation of our natural environment. Cheers, Malik
